An Aussie classic, nominated for the 1971 Cannes Palme D'Or: a young schoolteacher descends into violent, booze-fuelled madness in the outback. Chips Rafferty's last film and Jack Thompson's first.
Special guest Anthony Buckley, editor of Wake in Fright, author, producer (Bliss) and Australian cinema legend will introduce the film and take questions afterwards, followed by complimentary drinks.
