Ticket Policy

In 2009 Sydney Film Festival are selling tickets through our own website for the first time. We have implemented a $1 service fee per ticket. This $1 applies to single session tickets, $1 per FlexiPass and $1 per subscription. The $1 is included in the ticket price.

Sydney Film Festival does not offer refunds if you change your mind or are unable to attend a film screening for whatever reason. Single session tickets, or session tickets which are redeemed from a FlexiPass, can be swapped for an alternative session up to one hour before the session noted on the ticket. Such exchanges can only be made in person at the State Theatre Festival Box Office, from Wednesday 3 June - Sunday 14 June, upon payment of $2 per ticket exchanged.

Sydney Film Festival shall not be deemed to be in breach of its agreement with you or otherwise liable to you as a result of any delay or other failure in the performance of its obligations if and to the extent that such delay or other failure is caused by or arises from any event or circumstance not within its reasonable control.

If the 2009 festival is cancelled, in whole or in part, SFF may (at its sole election) decide to show any cancelled film screenings at a later time, in which case you agree that SFF does not have to refund your ticket price, even where you are unable to attend any postponed screening.

Sydney Film Festival is not liable for any loss or damage, however caused (including, but not limited to, by the negligence of Sydney Film Festival), suffered by you in connection with Sydney Film Festival's agreement with you.
